Do's and Don'ts of Fashion

Spring  &  Summer
Bright colors are a big trend during these seasons.
It's good mix a bright color with something neutral like white, black, or beige so that a single color stands out.


Don't! put too many bright colors together in one outfit. It's a bit abnoxious and way too overwhelming to the eye. This look is better on the runway ladies. Not real life.




5 Must-Haves
  1. Shorts! Lots and lots of shorts and skirts because you don't want to rewear the same ones over and again
  2. Long pendant necklaces
  3. Sandals, especially gladiators ones that strap up
  4. Soft and loose blouses
  5. Of course, sunglasses. But make sure the pair you wear don't cover up more the half of your face

Winter  &  Fall
These seasons are made to cover up. Here are a few tips on how to keep warm and look stylish.

Keep your heals on. When dressing for the fall it's ok to wear your pumps but make sure to wear a more heavier suede or leather pair. Also be sure to add tights or leggings to bring a new look to the season.


Don't! try to wear this look with strappy sandals or any summery shoe. It cannot be pulled off.



5 Must-Haves
  1. White blouse
  2. Fitted blazer
  3. Cardigans
  4. Pea coat preferably navy or black
  5. All kinds of boots -- short and tall



Key Tips:
  1. Do: On rainy or slushy days it's ok to where rainboot with a fitted pair of tights but do not wear these shoes all day. Be sure to change into more elegant and stylish shoes when you are situated in a dry place.
  2. Don't: When it comes to animal prints stick to neutral and natural colors. Don't wear any odd or strange colors. Have you ever seen a blue or purple zebra? No! So it's not ok to have that kind of pattern in your outfit.
  3. Do: wear colors more towards your face. It helps accentuate the energy in your appearance and overall look.
  4. Don't: overaccessorize! My biggest pet peeve is seeing anyone with doorknocker earrings and a statement necklace and ring on all at the same time. This does not complete an outfit it overwhelms it. No one can pull this off. Ever!

  6. Don't: Ladies! Don't wear clothes that are either too young or too old for your age. Women that wear clothes too young for them honestly look a little silly and just awkward. And girls that dress too old look washed out and stuck-up conservative. It just drains the enery out of them.
